First I was a bit skeptical—I said, well, I’ve got a family. They needed my support, see. My children needed a father. I told my Emma about it over supper that night, saying that I was thinking I wouldn’t go, but she said that they would be fine. I've seen more movies in the past couple of days than I usually see in a month. Know how many? Two. The Dark Knight and Mamma Mia!, both of which were entertaining. The Dark Knight wasn't as "OMFGCRAZYAWESOME" to me as it has been to...everyone I talk to? But it was pretty cool ^_^ I'm just not really big on superhero movies (exception, much? see below.) Mamma Mia! was quite nice, mainly because of Colin "Mr. Darcy" Firth (if you've never seen the 1995 BBC version of Pride and Prejudice with him, you have NO idea what a hunk is) and all his swoon-worthiness. I thought Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan rocked it too. Definitely a must-see if you claim to be a Broadway fan. Doesn't matter if you enjoy it or not--even if you hate it, you'll have another example when you bitch about how the shows are always better than the movies. Have I mentioned I'm not a film person?

Now, what's the exception? DR. HORRIBLE! You people need to get off your ASSES and see this thing NOW. It's only FOUR DOLLARS on iTunes, and it's worth every. fricking. penny. (Hear that, Eldee?) I'm begging you.
